Powertrain Solutions is a provider of diversified powertrain products and solutions in our three market segments Electric Vehicles (EL), Passenger Cars (PC), and Commercial Vehicles / Off-Road (CV/OR) – from gasoline and diesel injection to electric drives with battery and fuel cell technologies.
As a Ford Customer Team Intern, the overall purpose of this role is to gain experience and training while assisting with departmental tasks in Sales, Innovation Management, and Project Management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
Onsite located in Farmington Hills officeExecution of sales-related activities to maintain and expand business opportunities in the areas of fuel injection systems, thermal management, and sensors. Support with Sales planning and coordination of tasks to ensure on-going customer satisfactionSupport the Innovation Managers in executing pre-development / co-development projectsQualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering from a 4 year universityMinimum GPA 3.5Sophomore or higher class standingSelf-starting, results oriented, flexible, team playerStructured working approach to high quality standardsStrong analytical and mathematical skillsGood attention to detail, decision making, and problem solvingAble to present self well when communicatingStrong MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPointEnglish language proficiencyAdditional InformationIndefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only.
