What are we looking for?
A Powerhouse Operator serving Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Powerhouse and all related Engineering systems within the resort. The role includes the safe operation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of power generation and utility equipment to ensure uninterrupted resort operations. The Powerhouse Operator is also responsible for maintaining high operational and safety standards, supporting effective team member relations, and contributing to overall guest satisfaction in line with Hilton’s standards, business objectives, and company culture.
Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Support and uphold the company’s values, culture, and guest satisfaction standards.Follow Waldorf Astoria Quality Assurance and service standards consistently.Stay updated with STAY EXPERIENCE results and improve guest satisfaction.Maintain a strong guest-focused approach and respond proactively to guest needs.Take personal responsibility to resolve issues and communicate effectively.Promote the resort’s services and facilities to guests and suppliers.Maintain professional appearance and personal hygiene according to grooming standards.Report to duty punctually in proper uniform and nametag.Follow all fire, hygiene, health, and safety policies and procedures.Deliver friendly, efficient, accurate, and polite service at all times.Remain flexible and adaptable to operational and management requirements.Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and other Hilton properties.Support Engineering operations, repairs, and maintenance activities across the resort.Communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and third parties.Work closely with all departments to ensure guest satisfaction and operational profitability.Assist in managing Engineering team members and Human Resource-related matters.Ensure proper operation and maintenance of generators, water plants, sewage systems, and fuel systems.Monitor cleanliness, sanitation, environmental sustainability, and safety standards across facilities.Maintain accurate maintenance, inspection, audit, and operational records.Ensure all engineering equipment, plants, and systems are maintained safely, efficiently, and to high operational standards.What are we looking for?
