Power Washing/Line Striping Technician

JOB SUMMARY:

The Power Washing/Line Striping Technician is responsible for cleaning and maintaining 7-Eleven properties using high-pressure water spray and painting and marking parking lots, and other surfaces to ensure clean and safe navigation. The work orders that are handled are both preventative and reactive in nature.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inspecting surfaces to determine the appropriate washing techniqueSetting up and operating power washing equipmentRemoving dirt, grime, mold, graffiti, loose paint and gum from various surfacesApplying detergents or cleaning solutions before power washingFollowing safety procedures, including wearing personal protective equipmentPerforming routine maintenance and minor repairs on power washing equipmentOperating striping machines, including hand-held and ride-on unitsMeasuring and marking areas for painting using chalk lines or guide marks which includes ADA templatesApplying paint evenly and accurately along pre-determined patternsEnsuring compliance with safety regulations and ADA guidelinesMaintaining striping equipment and performing minor repairsStaying updated on industry trends, materials, and techniqueCleaning/Removing Graffiti from building and company owned structuresCleaning/Painting for Canopy’s and Under DeckingUtilizing reclamation equipment when and where requiredPainting Bollards, Dispenser Islands and CurbsMake sure ADA signage is in compliance and legibleMaking sure work area is completed and finalized to an acceptable levelClean and Power wash dumpster encloserFollow proper uniform guidelinesEffective in communication with internal and external partnersAppropriately maintain company vehicle and scheduled vehicle maintenanceFollow shift expectation start times defined by AFM. Available to work flexible hours upon request with reasonable notice. May require unscheduled overtime, or response to emergency situationsAppropriately maintain company vehicle and scheduled vehicle maintenanceAble to manage assigned inventory of parts and tools and meet auditing expectations of +/- 1% while also managing appropriate part levels

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

EDUCATION: High School/GED (Preferred)

YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 5+ years

YEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: NA

CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES: only if needed in specific states and/or municipalities
