As Country Business Director in Power Tools, you will take full responsibility for driving business performance and growth across all Business Units (BU) in your market. You will shape and execute the local sales strategy, ensure operational excellence, and lead a high-performing organization toward sustainable success.
This role combines strategic leadership, commercial responsibility, and people development, with a strong focus on performance, efficiency, and fostering a unified OnePT culture both internally and externally.
Job DescriptionCore Responsibilities
▪ Drive and implement a cross-BU local sales channel strategy.
▪ Act as the Power Tools (PT) representative in the country towards internal and external stakeholders.
▪ P&L responsibility (Local Contribution Margin) cross BU including sales related budgets and headcounts.
▪ Lead, inspire and develop the local sales team while fostering a high-performance culture.
▪ Implement sales standards to ensure systematic go to market approach and high efficiency/ sales performance.
▪ Constantly identify and develop talents for higher sales management.
▪ Responsible for steering, target setting, monitoring of KPIs and securing of agreed sales targets.
Tasks
▪ Generate profitable market share gain by steering sales strategy development and implementation.
▪ Implement pricing strategy including terms and condition management.
▪ Generate cross BU efficiency gains in the sales organization and drive digitalization initiatives.
▪ Continuously screen the market to identify new growth opportunities, risks and trends.
▪ Maintain contact with management of national customers and act as the escalation level beyond the sales force.
▪ Act as a strategic sparring partner for the sales force on conceptual, strategic, and top-customer matters, supporting the development of long-term partnerships.
▪ Ensure regular alignment of sales-related topics with other key Powet Tools stakeholders on a regional and HQ level.
▪ Support regional strategy development.
▪ Implement business unit strategies.
▪ Achieve sales targets (deployment, monitoring, forecasting, steering) and contribute to overstock reduction.
▪ Improve the sales organization through active management, coaching, and development of sales.
▪ Facilitate smooth collaboration between all functions (sales, marketing, service).
