Working in IBM Technology Expert Labs means accelerating the time to value confidently and ensuring speed and insight while our clients focus on what they do best— running and growing their business **Your role and responsibilities** As a Delivery Consultant specializing in Technology Expert Labs services for IBM's Power Portfolio, you will provide world-class infrastructure services solutions for clients based on IBM Power servers running its AIX and/or Linux operating system. You will leverage your expertise to deliver tailored solutions that meet clients' unique needs. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Design Infrastructure Solutions: Design and implement comprehensive infrastructure solutions for clients utilizing IBM Power servers and AIX and/or Linux operating systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. • Deliver Client-Facing Services: Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and deliver customized services that address their business challenges and objectives. • Develop Solution Strategies: Develop and implement solution strategies that align with clients' business goals and objectives, leveraging IBM's Power Portfolio and Technology Expert Labs services. • Manage Solution Delivery: Oversee the delivery of solutions, ensuring timely and within-budget completion, and maintaining high-quality standards. • Optimize Solution Performance: Continuously monitor and optimize solution performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness. **Required technical and professional expertise** Technical experience: 7+ years experience in implementing IBM Power Systems technologies, Red Hat Linux, Ansible, Troubleshooting, Technical writing/ documentation. Analytical Problem Solving: - Capable of analyzing moderately complex challenges using analytical tools and data interpretation. Applies critical thinking to assess problems with relevant data independently to evaluate potential solutions after considering various possibilities. - Engages in independent analysis and collaborates with others to gather insights and develop recommendations including challenging existing processes. - Work is done independently and is reviewed at critical points. - Incorporates and promotes new technology to improve data analysis, reporting and problem solving. - Analyzes team processes to eliminate inefficiencies, leading to improved project timelines and resource allocation. Available for weekend work. Current government security clearance is required. **Preferred technical and professional experience** • AIX and Linux Expertise: Experience with AIX and Linux operating systems, including design, implementation, and optimization of infrastructure solutions utilizing IBM Power servers. • Technology Expert Labs Knowledge: Familiarity with IBM's Technology Expert Labs services and how they can be leveraged to deliver world-class infrastructure services solutions for clients. • Power Portfolio Understanding: Experience with IBM's Power Portfolio, including designing and implementing comprehensive infrastructure solutions that align with clients' business goals and objectives. - Experience in implementing and maintaining IBM Storage technologies is preferred.
