**Eaton’s Electrical sector is currently seeking a Power Systems Engineer.** **This is a hybrid position that is based at our Kitchener, ON office, requires 10% travel and offers** **benefits on day one.**

**What you’ll do:**
The Power Systems Engineer provides applied engineering and technical consultation for customers in the areas of power systems studies, power quality analysis, protection & control, design, installation, startup, maintenance, repair and training.
+ **Project Management** - Self- management of assigned projects and job cost accountability to perform work within budgeted cost estimates.
+ **Engineering Assignments -** Performs engineering assignments that may involve power systems analysis, power quality measurements and audits, consulting and design services, troubleshooting, and problem solving relative to power distribution equipment.
+ **Power Analysis** - Focus on short circuit, coordination, arc flash, load flow and power quality analysis.
+ **Technical Proposals** - Interpret specifications and customer inquiries; design technical proposals and pricing for customers.
**Qualifications:**
**Required (Basic) Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
+ Minimum of one (1) year experience in engineering or the electrical field.
+ Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future.
+ No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Minimum of two (2) year experience in power systems engineering.
+ Minimum of one (1) year experience in the use of SKM, PTW, ETAP, EDSA, CYME, or EasyPower software preferred.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $69000 - $87000 a year. You are also eligible for overtime compensation.
