Join us and design your place with Stantec. **Your Opportunity** The MCF (Mission Critical Facilities) Power System Studies Engineer performs intermediate technical duties under the supervision of a Senior Project Engineer or Studio Leader. Understands and identifies project requirements and performs independent technical work on intermediate tasks within one’s own discipline. Role will execute and ensure quality throughout the process to meet our clients’ needs and expectations. The data center industry is continually evolving, and this is an ideal opportunity for candidates who enjoy working on technically challenging projects that require cutting edge designs. **Your Key Responsibilities** + Develop electrical system models and perform power system studies with minimal supervision. + Works in conjunction with the project team to develop SKM models and to prepare project reports per the client’s intent and scope of work outlined in the proposal. + Coordinates well with all disciples to fully integrate work and clients request into the reports. + Follows Stantec’s quality management process; reviews project deliverables before submitting them to QA/QC reviewer. + Actively participates in the engineering/professional community to build personal knowledge and professional growth (e.g. attend meetings / seminars / conferences) + Assist the Senior Project Engineer on project related tasks. + Meets or exceeds utilization goals and adheres to the project budget. **Your Capabilities and Credentials** + Possesses advanced knowledge of engineering practices related to power system studies including short-circiut, coordination and arc flash evaluation within own discipline and basic knowledge of practices and principles of other disciplines. + Able to conceptualize basic building systems within own discipline entirely including interactions with varied disparate components. + Possesses comprehensive knowledge of nomenclature, design techniques, materials, details, system components, construction techniques, related engineering systems, and building codes. + Able to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents, specifications, technical procedures, and government regulations. + Proficient in applicable software (i.e. SKM Power tools, ETAP). + Strong communicator who effectively conveys scope and coordination items to clients, vendors, and co-workers. + Adept at writing comprehensive reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. + Displays effective organization and time management skills with projects, reports and other duties effectively manages multiple priorities and is punctual and dependable. **Education and Experience** + Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience required. + Minimum 3 years related industry experience preferred. + Registered professional engineer (PE) license or other professional certification based on area of expertise preferred. We innovate at the intersection of community, creativity, and client relationships to advance communities everywhere, so that together we can redefine what’s possible. **Pay Range:** • Locations in CO, HI, IL, MD & Various CA, NJ Areas - Min Salary $ 82,600.00 - Max Salary $ 119,800.00 **Pay Transparency:** In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
