We are currently seeking a Power System Engineer to work in Melbourne. Our client is a global organisation that operate heavily in the Renewable energy sector. Carry out and direct Power System Engineering tasks, including GPS studies, Model Acceptance Tests, Load Flow Studies, etc. Ensure that analysis and design tasks undertaken meet appropriate technical standards. Liaising with NSP, TNSP, AEMO and external consultancies. Collaborate proactively with team members and stakeholders to ensure quality and successful coordination of projects. Contribute actively to the commercial success of projects and the team. Project Manage assigned tasks in order to accomplish project deliverables.Required Experience/Qualifications
Ideal candidate will have minimum 2 years’ experience as a Power System Engineer The Client will consider engineer, Senior and Principal candidates for this position (Renumeration will vary based on experience) Proficiency with PSCAD, PSS/E, SINCAL, DIgSILENT Renewable industry modelling experience is advantageous but not essential Degree in Electrical Engineering PhD focused on Power System Engineering is advantageous (Not essential)
