Power System Architecture & Marketing Specialist Job Description To support the explosive growth driven by **AI in Datacenters and Data Infrastructure** , Renesas is looking for an experienced **Power System Arcihitecture & Marketing** expert to drive growth opportunities in the market segment of Data Infrastructure, leveraging the Power products portfolio and different technologies of Renesas in all key system architectures from Grid to SoC. The role is ideally based in Silicon Valley, to support the local ecosystem of OEMs and Hyperscalers, with networks in West US and also Taiwan ODMs. The team will generate collaterals to support the key application area with: + All the available Power Product portfolio. + Market analysis + Competition analysis. + Portfolio Gap analysis. + System Block Diagrams. + System Simulations. + Eventual Demo-boards to be defined and realized to demonstrate the System architecture and establish the Renesas BOM to customers. + This hardware will be realized with the support of third parties (IDH), and by the PSMA laboratory in Bangalore. + Providing Power Roadmap feedback to all Product Lines, based on above. + Explore power market megatrends, in the scope of suggesting a GO-TO-Market approach for Renesas, based on through analysis **Key responsibilities:** + Members of PSMA should mix a combination 50-50% of business and technical marketing skills. + The team supports all POWER products portfolio, across all Market Segments, which PSMA contributes to analyze in terms of SAM for Renesas, and trends which determine main changes in architectures and consequently power component BOMS. + PSMA analyze market competitors in power, with depth in their portfolio, benchmarking Renesas portfolio against, to highlight value proposition, but also Gaps in portfolio and roadmap. + PSMA will focus, in line to main priorities on area of main impact, in line to market dynamics. + This generates worldwide champions in PSMA for the area of focus, where the tandem of System Marketing and System Architects will work as a unum team of experts, to support the Application clusters when supporting both Sales and Business Divisions. + The PSMA team covers for Power Product Marketing global activities, like: + Generate monthly reporting on DIN progress versus targets, by market segments and Region. + Participate to periodic opportunity reviews (funnel, DIN, revenue) with Sales and Product Lines (marketing and management), to reinforce the bond between the field and PG, leveraging the system knowledge, full power portfolio solution approach, to increase visibility into the customer opportunities, drive focus to key ones. + Manages the organization and setup of Power events and Conferences, like APEC, PCIM. + Provides content for Power Marketing Campaigns, for editors’ articles, newsletters, webcast and interviews. + Global PWR Communication content and campaigns to contribute to Renesas brand awareness in Power. Qualifications + Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field, MBA is a plus. + Minimum of 8-12 years experience in Power, in roles like semiconductors technical marketing, semi product definition, system design, system architecture, reference designs. + Proven track record of success in business development within the semiconductor industry, **specifically in power products.** + Strong understanding of power management semiconductor ICs, AC/DC, DC/DC converters, Battery Management, Si/WBG and trending power architectures and technologies. + **Experience working with Data Infrastructure** system knowledge, with deep understanding of block diagrams with details of components parts, being able to generate those and populate with power parts to address the entire application. + Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to forge strong relationships with customers and partners. + Ability to drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. + A proactive and adaptable team player with strong communication skills and a customer-centric, business-oriented mindset. Additional Information The expected annual pay range for this position is $200K-$260K. This position is also eligible for bonus opportunities. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
