Power Platform Team Lead (Technical Lead Power Apps / Power Automate)

**Job Description**
We are seeking a Power Platform Team Lead to lead a team of administrators supporting a federal government customer. This is a handson technical leadership role responsible for environment governance, platform health, security, automation, troubleshooting, and administration of Power Apps and Power Automate.
You will act as the customer s senior technical authoritydriving modernization, shaping governance, guiding administrators, and building automation and integrations using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, and REST APIs.
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
**Team Leadership & Technical Direction**
+ Lead and mentor a team of Power Platform administrators.
+ Define technical standards, governance practices, and support procedures.
+ Review work quality, provide coaching, and guide technical deep dives.
+ Prioritize and assign operational and project-based tasks.
**Power Platform Administration**
+ Manage and secure environments (Prod/Sandbox/Dev), solutions, connectors, DLP policies, and lifecycle strategy.
+ Oversee environment capacity, monitoring, ALM pipelines, and cleanup.
+ Support Maker governance, permissions, app ownership, shared resources, and data access controls.
+ Oversee Power Automate flows, approvals, service accounts, and integration patterns.
**Technical Engineering & Automation**
+ Develop and maintain automation for administration, auditing, governance, and tenant operations using PowerShell.
+ Build Microsoft Graph and REST integrations for reporting, inventory, analytics, and policy enforcement.
+ Automate routine assessments, environment audits, security reviews, and lifecycle processes.
+ Support Dataverse tables, roles, and solution design as required.
**Operational Support & Troubleshooting**
+ Serve as the escalation point for complex issues in Power Apps, flows, connectors, and tenant behaviors.
+ Diagnose and resolve operational failures; implement preventive controls.
+ Support authentication, service principals, connectors, and API permissions.
+ Coordinate with Microsoft support, cloud teams, developers, and security offices when necessary.
**Governance, Security & Compliance**
+ Implement platform governance aligned to federal security requirements.
+ Enforce DLP policies, connector governance, and access controls.
+ Support auditing, monitoring, compliance reporting, and log ingestion.
+ Assist with ATO-related documentation when required.
**Stakeholder & Customer Support**
+ Work directly with customer stakeholders to understand needs and recommend solutions.
+ Provide guidance on citizen development, lifecycle practices, and platform use.
+ Deliver briefings, platform health summaries, and technical reports.
Communicate risks, issues, and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
**Required Skills & Experience**
+ Strong experience administering Power Apps, Power Automate, and the Power Platform Admin Center.
+ Handson expertise with PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, and automation scripting.
+ Deep understanding of environments, DLP, connectors, Dataverse, identity, and ALM practices.
+ Proven ability to troubleshoot complex Power Apps/flow issues in production.
+ Experience leading or mentoring technical teams.
+ Solid understanding of security concepts (RBAC, service principals, data governance).
+ Experience supporting federal or highly regulated environments.
+ Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
**Preferred**
+ Experience in Microsoft GCC or GCC High.
+ Power Platform certifications (PL200, PL400, PL600, etc.).
+ Experience with Dataverse customization or solution architecture.
+ Familiarity with Azure automation services or DevOps-based ALM.
+ Experience supporting large enterprise tenants.
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $132962 - $226035
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
