Aplin has partnered with a leading organization to recruit a Plant Engineer for a 6-month contract opportunity. The Plant Engineer will provide engineering and technical support at an industrial power generation facility. This role works closely with maintenance, operations, and project teams to support ongoing plant reliability and asset performance.

Providing maintenance support to the mechanical maintenance teamSupporting mechanical projects, including project initiation reports, technical specifications, and technical assistancePerforming asset management activities, including equipment life-extension initiativesSupporting plant operations, including developing procedures and providing operational guidance for plant equipmentQualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical EngineeringMinimum 4 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial facilities, or power plant operationsProfessional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Ontario is preferredCandian Security Clearance is required by this client.  Thermal power plant experience strongly preferredDeadline of Application: 12 January 2026
