Power Integrity Engineer, Project Kuiper
Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.

Export Control Requirement:
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Key job responsibilities
As a Power Integrity Engineer, you will be responsible for defining and developing Power Integrity test methodologies, participating in design reviews, performing PI simulations, providing reports, collaborating with other engineers to develop solutions, and working to ensure a high technical bar for PCB power across Kuiper.

A day in the life
Engineers on the Signal/Power Integrity (SI/PI) team work across the entire Kuiper satellite system, providing design inputs, developing requirements, establishing best practices, performing power integrity simulations, and working with designers to make design improvements.

About the team
The SI/PI team interacts broadly across the entire Kuiper project to deliver electrical designs. You will have the opportunity to work with multiple technical teams at Amazon in different locations. You should be comfortable with a high degree of ambiguity and relish the idea of solving problems that haven't been solved at scale before. Along the way, we guarantee that you highly reliable, power efficient, performant, low cost satellite bus and payload. You will learn a lot, have fun and make a positive impact on millions of people.
