Power Generation Technician
**Job Description** We service agricultural equipment across North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Eastern Montana, and are seeking Technicians interested in relocating to one of these states. In this role, you’ll apply your mechanical aptitude to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on agricultural equipment. Responsibilities include: + Performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on agricultural equipment and systems + Troubleshooting diesel technology systems and components (approximately 25% of work involves laptop-based diagnostics) + Maintaining a safe and clean work environment + Working independently and collaboratively within a high-performing team + Traveling to customer locations as needed + Performing other duties as assigned **Power Generator Technician Responsibilities** + Inspect and diagnose generator/engine issues + Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns + Repair and replace malfunctioning components + Oversee installation and ensure operational readiness of new generators + Test generator performance to meet specifications + Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections + Follow safety procedures to prevent accidents + Stay current with generator technology and apply updates as needed **Additional Details** + Overtime available as workload dictates (paid at 1.5x hourly rate for hours over 8/day) **Required Skills** + Troubleshooting + Electronics + Electrical power engineering + Power generation + Data entry + Diagnostic testing + Diesel engine repair **Qualifications** + Associate degree in Diesel Technology or Power Systems Technology + Must provide own tools and toolbox **Experience Level** + Entry Level **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $51.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
