We are looking for a Power Subsystem Engineer

Key duties as Power Subsystem Engineer of space system the main activities are:

Perform detailed analyses on power sources (solar array, battery or DC power from other modules) to assess the correctness of sizing considering age and degradation due to single failure and compute relevant performance evaluationDefine power system architecture from received requirements from source to usersDefine performance, interface and test requirements for the power system, power sources, and users.Specify and review technical documentation as Subsystem/Unit like applicable standards technical specification, Technical Notes/Analysis, Test Specification and reportManage and/or participate to technical meetings with subcontractor and/or clients.Participate to design review with customers and supplier as neededSupport failure analysis and support in solution identifications during the unit development and subsystem / Spacecraft integration phases

Skills, experience and qualifications required:

Master Degree in Electronics or Aerospace engineering or equivalent with Power specialization.

At least 5 year of experience in at least one of the following area:

Design of Power unit or electronic unit for power regulationSystem or subsystem power architect

Deep knowledge of:

MS Office package (Word, Excel, Access)scientific tools and SW like Matlab/Simulink, MathCad, Visual Basic.

Knowledge of  English  is mandatory

Available for short business trip in Italy or abroad.
