Power Distribution Team Leader
Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Power Distribution Team Leader. Reporting to the National Project Engineering Manager, the purpose of this position is to provide leadership, oversight and mentoring of project engineering teams focused on both large and small project designs. This position is to provide engineering leadership to teams of designers and discipline specific engineers to create complete design packages including both electrical and physical layout. The Regional Project Engineering Team Leader shall provide a high level of expertise in one or more areas of substation and/or power distribution design. This is a fully remote position that requires 10% travel. The expected annual salary range for this role is $113000 - $165000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. **What you’ll do:** + Provide leadership, oversight, and mentoring for project engineering teams delivering both large and small project designs. + Lead teams of designers and discipline‑specific engineers to produce complete electrical and physical layout design packages. + Serve as expert in leading design projects and packages for large turnkey electrical projects + Manage engineering design deliverables to meet project schedules, design budgets, accuracy requirements, and submittal completeness. + Ensure value‑added engineering on complex projects and monitor overall engineering schedules and team utilization. + Act as a technical leader, offering guidance and mentorship to Project Engineers, Project Managers, and customers. + Support scope development, estimation of engineering deliverables, subcontractor coordination, bid leveling, and process/procedure development. + Assist the Project Operations Leadership Team with regional hiring strategies, engineering staffing, employee training and development, performance evaluation, and utilization planning. + Contribute to financial cost control and monitoring of engineering efforts. **Qualifications:** **Basic Qualifications:** + BS in electrical engineering from an accredited institution + Minimum of Seven (7) years of Design/Construction experience. + Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
