Kforce has a client that is seeking a Power BI Developer in Oakland, CA. Key Responsibilities: * Dashboard & Report Development: Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards, paginated reports, and self-service analytics solutions that meet business requirements * Data Modeling: Build efficient, scalable data models in Power BI and Power Query (M) with strong DAX calculations to support advanced reporting scenarios * Data Integration: Connect to multiple data sources (SQL Server, APIs, Excel, third-party platforms, etc.) and transform data into consumable formats * Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize report performance, data refreshes, and query efficiency * Collaboration: Partner with business stakeholders & third-party data providers to gather business & technical requirements, define KPI calculations, and ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions * Governance & Standards: Contribute to BI governance by implementing best practices for data security, access management, version control, and consistent data definitions * Documentation & Training: Create technical documentation, data dictionaries, and provide training for business users on Power BI self-service capabilities
