The Power BI Developer will be responsible for designing wireframes and dashboards with an emphasis on user experience, consistency, and visibility. The role requires expertise in data visualization and analytics, with hands-on experience in business intelligence tools and Databricks. What you will do:
Hands-on development of Reports, dashboards, and data modelsDocument report logic, data models, and analytical methodologies to ensure maintainability and knowledge transferBuild efficient queries to bring multiple dashboards into one semantic modelProvide data-driven recommendations to stakeholders and contribute to strategy development based on analytical findingsBuild robust data models and implement advanced DAX calculations to support business intelligence needs and decision-makingCollaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data requirements and translate them into technical specificationsInvestigate and resolve issues related to data sources, loading, and visualization logic across the program and other teamsTroubleshoot, enhance, and optimize existing Power BI reports and dashboards to ensure continued alignment with business needsEnsure governance of data access and security policies, including Row-Level Security (RLS) and workspace permission modelsAssist with performance tuning and report optimization to improve loading speed, usability, and scalabilityProvide guidance and support to teams adopting Power BI, ensuring best practices in report design, modeling, and deploymentPerforms upgrades as needed to incorporate new features and assure elevated levels of security and support
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field5+ years of demonstrated experience working with large datasets and translating raw data into visually meaningful insights for decision-makersExperience with Databricks platformStrong analytical skills with the ability to detect patterns and anomalies in large datasetsAbility to diagnose and resolve performance and configuration issuesExperience with Power Query for data transformation and manipulationFamiliarity with SQL and pythonWork visa sponsorship is not available for this positionPreferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of access management, security configuration, and compliance within cloud environmentsAbility to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and produce high-quality documentationAbility to work effectively with global teams

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 - $148,800 (+ 10-15% bonus) in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
