This is a Power BI Developer - Microsoft Fabric & Data Engineering role.

This is an experienced professional job, responsible for collaborating with clients to enable them with trusted, actionable data to break down business problems into solvable components. These employees provide analytical product support for a variety of internal customers and external recipients. These employees will support the delivery of analytical visualization reports, Ad Hoc requests and data quality efforts for clients.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and Develop Reporting SolutionsBuild intuitive, scalable Power BI dashboards and reports that enable business users to explore and understand new product features and functionalities prior to implementation.Data Integration and TransformationConnect to diverse data sources (e.g., Oracle/ADW, SQL Server, Microsoft Fabric Lakehouses/Data Warehouses) and perform complex joins, transformations, and data modeling to support analytics needs.Collaborate Across TeamsPartner with internal teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and deliver actionable insights tailored to various personas and role levels.Support Data Engineering and AnalyticsDeliver clean, validated, and transformed datasets for modeling and analysis, leveraging tools such as SQL, Python, and Microsoft Fabric pipelines.Enable Self-Service AnalyticsBuild and maintain self-service and ad hoc reporting solutions that support dynamic segmentation and empower users to make data-driven decisions. Ensure Data Quality and GovernanceTroubleshoot data quality issues, identify root causes, and document resolutions while contributing to internal knowledge bases like the PI Wiki.Optimize Performance and Maintain StandardsMonitor report performance, apply Power BI best practices, and ensure version control and documentation are consistently maintained.Drive Automation and InnovationCollaborate on the implementation of automated data solutions and stay current with emerging technologies in Microsoft Fabric and the broader data ecosystem.Education

• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

Experience2 or more years of experience (Preferred)3+ years of Power BI development experience (Preferred)Strong proficiency in Microsoft Fabric workspace management and dataflows (Preferred)Solid experience with Spark (Databricks, Synapse, or Fabric Spark preferred)Advanced SQL skills across platforms (including Oracle and T-SQL) (Preferred)Proficiency with DAX and Power Query (M) (Preferred)Experience working with large datasets and optimizing queries for performance (Preferred)Understanding of data lakehouse architecture, medallion models, and delta tables (Preferred)Supervisory Responsibilities

Compensation

Base compensation offered for this role is $61,000  - $93,570 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

*** Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e., commission, bonus, etc.) as applicable for the role.
