Job Description The City of Oakland is seeking a part-time Power BI Analyst to support the development, enhancement, and publication of public-facing dashboards. This individual will work closely with the internal team—including Anita and Rodolfo—to build high-quality reporting tools aligned with departmental needs, especially around permits and public transparency. Skills and Requirements Proven experience developing Power BI dashboards from concept to deployment. Strong SQL skills for querying and transforming data. Ability to troubleshoot Power BI and data-related issues. Experience developing dashboards for reporting and analytic purposes. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently. Experience working with Accela or other permitting systems. Familiarity with municipal processes or public-sector reporting. Experience publishing dashboards to public websites or portals.
