In this role, you’ll operate equipment that applies and bakes powder coating on fabricated steel and aluminum products. This position is perfect for individuals who are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and eager to learn new skills. With training provided and opportunities to grow, this is a great chance to start or expand your career in manufacturing.
ResponsibilitiesFill chemical tanks and machine reservoirs with solutions used in the coating and cleaning processOperate conveyor system, hang products, and ensure proper coating and baking cyclesSet heating units, monitor exhaust fans, and check products for quality, thickness, and appearanceGauge coating thickness to meet quality control standards and perform routine chemical testing (soil load and pH)Support 5S program by maintaining a clean and organized work area and assist in other areas as neededQualifications and RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent training or experience acceptedAbility to read and follow basic instructions, both written and verbalStrong math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and divisionWillingness to work overtime and Saturdays when requiredAbility to meet quality and production goals consistentlyTeam-oriented mindset with flexibility to learn other jobs within the departmentBenefits and PerksCompetitive pay starting at $17.50/hrMedical, dental, and vision insurance optionsWeekly Pay with direct deposit or Rapid!
