NTT DATA Services currently seeks a **Field Service Technician** to join our team in **Eugene, OR** . **Field Service Technician -IT Support** **Location: Eugene, OR** **Pay Rate: $24.96 per hour** **Start Date: 8/4/2025** **Shift: M-F 8:00-4:30 pm (with some flexibility)** **Employment Type: Long Term Contract /Not a Direct Hire** **Role Responsibilities** Worker will assist in running service calls and installing computer and printer hardware in retail stores. Some drive times may be several hours in each direction. Provides technical support to the organization's internal users of computer applications and hardware (e.g., PCs, servers, mainframes). Answers questions regarding system procedures, online transactions, systems status and downtime procedures . Collaborates with network services, software systems engineering and/or application development in order to restore service and/or identify problems. Maintains a troubleshooting tracking log ensuring timely resolution of problems. + Individuals are responsible to repair, stage, configure and QA IT hardware to stores and field service technicians.This position will also refurbish, and QA returned store hardware equipment. + Constant walking and standing. + Problem solving and decision-making skills + Constant lifting less then 30lbs but occasionally lifting up to 80lbs with assistance. + Schedule will be 40 hours per week and might include weekends and holidays as part of normal work days. **Required Skills/Experience** + 2 years IT hardware installation experience and previous hardware repair experience. + Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to drive themselves between locations. + Motor Vehicle Report will be pulled during the background screening process. + Have ability to work on their own, lift 75lbs, work flexible hours, complete required paperwork and have excellent customer service skills. + Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. **Education:** 2-year Technical School, technical certifications (ex. CompTIA A+), and/or technical experience.
