Work Location Springfield Campus Department Campus Recreation Hiring Range $13.75 Sponsorship Information Applicants must be currently authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States on a full-time basis. Department/Employer Operating Hours Monday-Friday 7:30am to 5:30pm How many hours per week are required? 20 is the minimum Description of Primary Duties Plans, leads, and implements camp programs for children. Be a role model for campers and staff. Provides high-quality and enjoyable experiences for campers. Supervises campers and ensures their safety, development, growth, skill achievement, and general well-being. Maintains a schedule for camp participants. Organizes and leads various small and large group activities Ensures the cleanliness of the site. Assists in maintaining accurate program records, including incident reports, logbook documentation, and daily attendance. Knows and understands all emergency procedures associated with the camp program. Records and tracks camper’s dietary restrictions/allergies and ensures that the meals/snacks are distributed to them. Mediates any camper disputes. Knows, enforces, and follows all safety guidelines associated with the camp program, including knowing the whereabouts of your charges at all times. Respond to any accidents or incidents, recording all information in detail. Attend all mandatory meeting and training sessions. Other duties as assigned by Camp Director Required Qualifications Good communication, organization and leadership skills. Must have the ability to maintain camper safety and activity organization while also monitoring camper needs. Must be 16 years old Must have current CPR / AED /First Aid or able to obtain Must submit health history record and exam prior to first day of work Must pass all background screenings Must be able to interact with all age levels Required Certifications Additional Qualifications Must be available Summer 2026 for a MINIMUM of 3 weeks Special Instructions to Applicants Only online applications will be accepted.
