You'll be responsible for conducting research in Chemistry. Also responsible for writing manuscripts, developing research proposals, and helping with graduate student mentoring and group organization. Opportunties to Contribute + Analyze and interpret data to support collaborative discussions and decision-making in group meetings. + Prepare and disseminate findings through manuscripts, periodic reports, scientific publications, and professional presentations. + Create and deliver presentations of results at group meetings and other appropriate venues.  + Provide advice and assistance to other laboratory team members and provide mentorship to graduate and undergraduate students.  + Attend scientific meetings and seminars to enhance research. + Keep up to date on scientific research via reading of literature, etc. + Participating in writing grant proposals. and follow applicable safety standards.  Salary: Commensurate based on candidate's education and experience Special Note: Due to this position’s salary having all or a portion of it being funded by grants or contracts, the continuing salary and overall employment is contingent upon availability of these funds in the future. Qualifications + Appropriate Ph.D. in Chemistry + This position requires export-control authorization prior to commencing employment.
