Postdoctoral Fellow - Neurosurgery - Research
The post-doctoral position will focus on Discovery of Tumor Cohesion Regulators for Phagocytosis-based Immunotherapy of Glioblastoma and Development of Bispecific Nanomedicine. Additionally, the research will focus on exploring macrophage phagocytosis as a novel axis for recurrent glioblastoma immunotherapy.

All duties and responsibilities are carried out in compliance with institutional policies, ethical research standards, and applicable federal and state regulations.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
The postdoctoral fellow will receive training in single-cell transcriptomics and bioinformatics. Knowledge to systematically discover and validate novel biological targets. The postdoctoral fellow will gain expertise in the nano-engager system, enabling the translation of biological discoveries into programmable nanomedicines. Additionally, the postdoctoral fellow will build proficiency in orthotopic glioblastoma modeling and immunological assays, which are essential for assessing therapeutic efficacy and dissecting underlying mechanisms in vivo.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
The applicant should have a PhD and/or MD as well as peer-reviewed publications or manuscripts under review in internationally recognized journals. A strong background in medicine, molecular biology, and cell biology is also required.

POSITION INFORMATION
MD Anderson offers full-time postdoc positions with a salary ranging from $64,000 to $76,000. depending on the number of years of postgraduate experience.
