**Job Description** Salary: According to UAW/Mount Sinai agreement, effective 7/1/25 starting salary $74,692 Department: 866 – Department of Immunology and Immunotherapy Location: Icahn – 1425 Madison Ave., Lab 12-02, New York, NY 100289 Department website: https://icahn.mssm.edu/about/departments-offices/immunology-immunotherapy Laboratory website: https://labs.icahn.mssm.edu/ferraride-andrade-lab/ **Qualifications** Technical Duties: The postdoctoral researcher will be responsible for leading the research project as well as collaborating with colleagues. Specific technical duties include, but are not restricted to: tissue culture, leukocyte isolation from human blood samples, flow cytometry, qPCR, maintaining of mouse colony, mouse genotyping, _in vivo_ experimentation, ELISA, and statistical analyses. Furthermore, the postdoctoral fellow will be required to present laboratory meetings and institution-level seminars and write research articles and fellowships. Finally, the postdoctoral fellow will help maintain the laboratory operations through equipment maintenance, re-suppling, and inventorying whenever needed. Wages and benefits: See Article 5 and 13 of The collective bargaining agreement found online at https://sinaipostdocunion.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/12-17-23-SPOC-UAW-\_-Mount-Sinai-Tentative-Agreement-FINAL-PDF.pdf . **Responsibilities** The Ferraride de Andrade Laboratory is seeking highly motivated postdocs to lead the CD16a project Natural killer (NK) cells perform antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) following CD16a engagement. However, CD16a can be shed from the cell surface prior engagement. We, therefore, generated a novel antibody that inhibits CD16a shedding, to test the hypothesis that CD16a shedding is a homeostatic mechanism of immune regulation. The salary range for the role is $72500 - $80000 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
