Postdoctoral Fellow - Imaging Physics Research

This is a post-doctoral fellow position. Under the mentorship of Dr. Jia Wu and Dr. Xinuning Le, the postdoctoral fellow will work on designated projects assigned by the mentor(s). the fellow will be responsible for the conception of the project, collecting primary data (including but not limited to chart review for genomic typing, response, and survival of lung cancer patients treated with various treatments, the input of histology and radionics data, genomics data), analyze results using mathematical and statistical tools, complies, writes and submits reports to mentor(s).
*LEARNING OBJECTIVES*
Under the mentorship of Dr. Jia Wu and Dr. Xinuning Le, the post-doctoral fellow will be working in a multi-disciplinary team with expertise in oncology, radiomics, and AI/Machine Learning. The fellow will gain knowledge in all three areas. The fellow will also develop independent research areas of interest with guidance from mentor(s).

*ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS*
An individual holding a recent (within three years) Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate (e.g., Sc.D., M.D., D.V.M.) in an appropriate field who is seeking a temporary appointment under the supervision of a faculty mentor, involving full-time laboratory-based research or scholarship in preparation for an academic or research career as an independent investigator. This appointment is not part of a clinical training program; individuals holding an M.D. degree or equivalent are not permitted to engage in patient care activity.
