Postdoctoral Fellow - Head & Neck Surgery

The Division of Endocrine Surgery at the Head and Neck Department of MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston is actively recruiting candidates for a postdoctoral fellow position. This unique opportunity involves working as a research assistant, contributing to study design, data collection, analysis, and the development of scientific manuscripts. This postdoctoral fellowship offers a mentored research experience in a federally funded, highly collaborative, and productive clinical research program. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to develop research skills, publish peer-reviewed manuscripts, and receive mentorship in grant writing within the field of cancer prevention and cancer outcomes.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- Collaborate on outcomes research within the scope of large registry data sets.
- Participate in supportive care clinical trials.
- Engage in dissemination and implementation research.
- Contribute to outcome measurement research utilizing mixed method data sets, including clinician-rated, patient-reported outcome, and imaging data.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Eligibility Requirements:
- Doctoral degree (MD or PhD) is required.
- Previous experience in clinical research is essential.
- Preferred degree backgrounds include MD, PhD, or related disciplines.
- Prior exposure to cancer prevention, cancer survivorship, head and neck cancer, outcome measurement, psychometrics, advanced biostatistics or analytics is advantageous.
- Strong writing skills, evidence of high-quality protocol research, human subject experience, and scientific presentation history are crucial qualifications.

MD Anderson offers full-time postdoc positions with a salary ranging from $64,000 to $76,000. depending on the number of years of postgraduate experience.
