Details Title Postdoctoral Fellow Bellono Lab School Faculty of Arts and Sciences Department/Area Molecular and Cellular Biology Position Description Postdoctoral fellow openings! Bellono Lab Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology, Harvard University https://projects.iq.harvard.edu/bellonolab Explore molecular mechanisms underlying unique adaptations and behaviors. Fellows have freedom to ask broad questions across a range of organisms housed within our lab: octopuses, sharks, jellyfish, photosynthetic animals, walking fish, piranhas, and more. The fellow will benefit from diverse scientific approaches in our lab and broader community across Harvard and collaborative interactions elsewhere. Candidates should have a strong background in cell biology, physiology, biochemistry, structure, and/or other molecular approaches with demonstrated ability to independently lead a project, as well as collaboratively contribute to a team. Most of all, we value curiosity, creativity, and a passion for science! All postdoctoral fellows in the lab have received external fellowship support, and thus we expect and will support fellowship applications upon starting. Basic Qualifications Ph.D. Required – Candidates should have a strong background in cell biology, physiology, biochemistry, structure, and/or other molecular approaches. Additional Qualifications Special Instructions Letters of recommendation are required at the time of application.
