Post-Doctoral Associate (PI: Dr. Kenny L. Chan)
A postdoctoral associate position is available in the laboratory of Kenny Chan, PhD in the Department of Molecular Pathobiology at the NYU College of Dentistry. The Chan Lab studies bi-directional gut-brain communication during psychosocial stress, with an emphasis on neuroimmune interactions. We integrate techniques from the fields of neuroscience, immunology, and gastroenterology to identify circuits, cell types and secreted factors that modulate behavior and gastrointestinal physiology. Duties and Responsibilities: We are seeking a highly-motivated applicant with experience in immunology, neuroimmunology, or a relevant field. The postdoctoral associate will perform laboratory research, literature reviews, data analysis, and prepare data for publications and presentations. In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $62,500.00 -$67,00.00.
