Department Specific Functions The candidate will be designing, building and deploying compact eye-ECMO perfusion machines that provide oxygenated normothermic pressurized perfusion of donor eyes immediately after harvesting, and up to the time of transplantation, both for Miami surgeons and other funded ARPA-H teams. Develop the engineering platforms for perfusing and transporting freshly harvested whole human eyes.
