Summary:

This role is responsible for mold cleaning, maintenance and repairs, fixture fabrication and mold inspections to ensure efficient mold operations and maintaining quality standards.

Essential Functions: Establish and track various projects related to molds. Clean molds to maintain their optimal performance and longevity. Maintain and repair molds to address any issues or damages promptly. Assist in improving molds and handle relevant documentation tasks. Operate milling machines to perform tasks such as precision surface reduction and the creation of threaded holes. Fabricate and maintain simple fixtures to aid in the mold production process and conduct thorough mold inspections for quality assurance. Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Vocational School Certificate or Diploma in a mechanical program.  May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education 1+ years of experience in machining or maintenance of molds in a manufacturing company Understanding of simple CAD drawings Proficiency in operating milling machines
