**Job Description:**

**Position Overview:**
As a Senior Scheduler, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, development, and management of project and portfolio schedules. This role requires expertise in Primavera P6, project controls scheduling, and portfolio management. You will collaborate with planning and execution teams to ensure alignment across multiple projects and programs, driving timely and efficient delivery. Additionally, you will act as a bridge between the initial planning team and the project execution team, ensuring seamless transitions and consistency in scheduling processes. Your strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills will be essential in mentoring schedulers, improving scheduling processes, and maintaining portfolio-wide efficiency and success.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project and portfolio schedules using **Primavera P6** , ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
+ Build initial schedules based on the Long-Term Planning Process (LTP) and standard project templates in collaboration with the Planning team.
+ Work with the Planning team to hand over initiation-stage schedules to the project execution team, including Project Managers, Project Management Analysts (PMAs), and Project Schedulers.
+ Collaborate with execution teams to develop new project schedules for recurring or emergent work.
+ Maintain and update changes to the master P6 project templates, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
+ Provide guidance to project schedulers on the use of project templates, logic, and procedures.
+ Review and perform QA/QC on project-level and program-level schedules for accuracy, proper coding, and compliance with standards.
+ Manage and oversee portfolio-level scheduling, ensuring consistency, alignment, and integration across multiple projects and programs.
+ Train new schedulers on project templates, logic, and procedures, and provide coverage for schedulers during vacations as needed.
+ Act as a liaison between the planning and execution teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
+ Prepare and present scheduling reports, including progress updates, forecasts, and performance metrics, with a focus on both project-specific and portfolio-wide insights.
**Qualifications:**
+ **Minimum of 5 years of experience** in project controls scheduling, with a strong focus on **Primavera P6** and portfolio-level scheduling.
+ Proven track record of developing and managing complex project schedules in engineering, construction, or infrastructure projects.
+ Demonstrated experience in portfolio management, including managing multiple projects and aligning schedules with organizational goals.
+ Strong understanding of project templates and the ability to provide guidance and training to schedulers.
+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
+ Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
+ :Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience) and typically 5+ years of related work experience
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience in large-scale infrastructure or engineering projects.
+ Familiarity with earned value management (EVM) principles.
+ Certification in project scheduling or project management (e.g., PMI-SP, PMP) is a plus.

Salary Range: $72,900.00 - $127,600.00
