The Upper Extremities business unit is market-leading, fast-growing, and rapidly transforming healthcare.  In this role, the Portfolio Manager will focus on the Upper Extremities digital and enabling technologies program by driving product and/or marketing strategies and programs consistent with overall business objectives.

What you will do

Monitor competitors, market dynamics, and penetration trends to inform strategic decisions and identify future risks and opportunities.

Conduct market research to uncover unmet customer needs and translate insights into actionable opportunities for new products, services, and solutions.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and emerging thought leaders to influence strategy and stay ahead of market shifts.

Track and analyze market trends, proactively adjusting strategies and communicating insights to guide organizational focus and market opportunity.

Elevate team understanding of industry standards, practices, benchmarks, and guidelines to strengthen business decision-making.

Lead and collaborate cross-functionally through the full New Product Development Process (NPDP), aligning stakeholders and ensuring seamless execution.

Drive portfolio strategy and product lifecycle management by partnering with R&D and Clinical Affairs, forecasting accurately, defining category strategy, and supporting evidence generation.

Manage pricing competition, evaluate marketing channel effectiveness, and establish criteria and best practices for improving business and industry performance.

What you need

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related discipline

Minimum 4 years of work experience

Preferred:

MBA

Minimum 4 years Marketing, sales or engineering experience

$93,800 - $156,200 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 40%
