Your Role:
As part of our Digital & eCommerce organization, the Portfolio Manager will play a pivotal role in maximizing the value of our Digital and eCommerce efforts by driving visibility, alignment, and decision-making across multiple product teams and stakeholder groups.
The Digital Portfolio Manager will sit at the nexus of customer insights, business objectives, operational performance, and value realization. By collecting, synthesizing, and communicating critical data points—ranging from initiative progress and value delivery to resource allocation, risks, and collaboration effectiveness—this role will empower Digital & eCommerce leaders, product owners, and partners to make informed, impactful strategic and tactical decisions.
The role will report to the Manager, Portfolio Management as part of our Customer Experience organization.
Must sit in St. Louis, MO or Burlington, MA. Hybrid working model.
Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio Strategy & Alignment:
Support the prioritization and alignment of initiatives across a portfolio of digital products and cross-functional teams.Partner closely with product owners, lead engineers, and UX designers to ensure work is focused on delivering measurable customer and business value.Ensure initiatives from broader organizational stakeholders are effectively evaluated, resourced, and integrated.
Performance & Value Management:
Monitor and report on value delivery across initiatives, highlighting alignment to business and customer outcomes.Identify work that is not delivering expected value and provide actionable recommendations to redirect or de-prioritize.Track performance relative to goals and help define success metrics in partnership with product teams.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
Assess and communicate the effectiveness of cross-functional collaboration, identifying blockers and opportunities for improved coordination.Promote alignment between product teams and other functional stakeholders including marketing, sales, operations, and customer support.
Insights & Decision Enablement:
Serve as a central point for collating insights from customer research, analytics, delivery performance, and business metrics.Provide clear, data-informed recommendations to support strategic planning, product direction, and ongoing optimization.
Visibility & Governance:
Maintain and evolve roadmaps and dashboards that provide transparency to product and portfolio health.Work with Digital & eCommerce leadership to ensure initiatives remain aligned with broader strategic goals and priorities.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
Stay up to date on best practices in digital portfolio management, agile delivery, and product operations.Partner with Customer Insights and Experience Design teams to deeply understand customer journeys and emerging needs.
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in digital portfolio or project management in a cross-functional or matrixed organization.Strong knowledge of digital product development, agile methodologies, and customer-centric design principles.Proven ability to manage across multiple teams, initiatives, and business priorities simultaneously.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.Experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Planview, or similar for work tracking and visibility.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with digital analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, FullStory) is preferred.Agile, Scrum, or PMP certification is a plus.
Pay Range: $115,500-$173,300
