As a Portfolio Manager within the Joint Replacement Program Management Office (PMO), you’ll play a pivotal role in aligning strategic investments with business goals, driving growth, and delivering value across the organization.

This is a hybrid position. You will need to live within commuting distance to our Mahwah, New Jersey office. You will need to be in the office 3 days a week and can work from home on other days.
What you will doLead cross-functional portfolio selection and monitoring processes to ensure timely, fiscally responsible investment decisions
Develop and maintain a portfolio framework and executive-level reporting forum
Track and report on portfolio performance, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
Collaborate with Finance and internal teams to ensure accurate, up-to-date portfolio metrics
Evaluate and prioritize programs and projects to optimize resource allocation and staffing
Build and manage stakeholder relationships across all levels to ensure alignment and engagement
Communicate portfolio progress and risks to senior leadership, ensuring transparency and accountability
Mentor and inspire a small team of analysts, fostering collaboration and high performance as needed
What you needRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Marketing, Management, Finance, or related
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in portfolio, program, or project management, engineering, strategy, business development, or similar roles
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Resource Management Software
Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and/or managing project portfolios
Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across functions
Strong communication and facilitation skills with executive-level audiences
Ability to analyze data and make decisions with incomplete information
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree (MBA or MS)
PMP or equivalent project management certification
Strong background in Product Lifecycle Management, process improvements, business strategy, portfolio optimization, and strategic and financial planning.
Experience working in a regulated environment (e.g., medical devices, aerospace, automotive)
Experience with resource planning and prioritization frameworks
$138,700.00 - $226,890.00 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
