Role Description
We are looking for individuals to join our collaborative team as we rapidly expand our best-in-class solution capabilities in the Intelligent Devices Business Segment. We seek individuals with the unique ability to extract and unveil the value of our Intelligent Devices portfolio and a desire to consult with customers to understand and guide their automation journey. We are seeking a, experienced, and enthusiastic Portfolio Expert to join our experienced team!
Essential Functions:
Support direct and indirect sales efforts through onsite customer visits to develop solutions that include our Intelligent Devices portfolio aligned with our Software and Control and Lifecycle services offering. This may include technical presentations, product specifications, cross-referencing of products, etc.Define the scope and bill of materials.Work with Sales, Distributors, and Partners to develop strategies to position our Intelligent Devices portfolio.Collaborate with Sales and Distribution to transfer knowledge about our Intelligent Devices portfolio.Work with Sales Management to prioritize strategic customer pursuits and collaborate to execute the sales plan.Facilitate the transfer of Intelligent Devices portfolio and application knowledge to sales, distribution, and partners (system integrators and OEMs).Stay abreast of current and evolving industry and customer requirements in designated regions to ensure proper product offerings.Provide input to product management concerning product features necessary to facilitate the deployment of industry-specific applications.Motivate cross-functional resources to ensure customer satisfaction with solutions.Assist sales and technical sales teams as required to meet quarterly and yearly order plans.Projected 50% travel.Qualifications Required:
Degree in Engineering – Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics.5 or more years of experience in sales or related positions that support sales (commercial preferred) with a focus on RA Intelligent Devices portfolio or similar.Experience with all or most of the following: Motor Control, Motion, Safety, Industrial Control, Sensing.Proven understanding of business drivers, manufacturing processes, and industry best practices across various industries.Proven track record in dealing with complex global organizations.Experience with all or most of the following: Motor Control (VFDs, Starters, Motor Control Centers), Industrial Control and Electrical SystemsWhat we offer:
