Manage projects relating to licensing and acquisition of new products (business case development, proposal preparation, cross-function / affiliate alignment, support deal negotiation, partner relationship development.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
New product project / business development
Part of the NPI / Business Development team, being responsible for driving business development, licensing, acquisition projects across APAC countriesTo create a comprehensive picture of the market/product opportunity. Develops strategies from market and medical/clinical data (trends, unmet therapy needs) and clinical profile/indications/patents of product, develops a SWOT analysis, forecast short and long-term market development and product potential. Project management – manage and execute new product projects, including product assessment, business case development and proposal, cross-function coordination, partner evaluation and negotiation, due diligence, and support contracting works.Market research
To develop, recommend, create, and review market research solutions through quantitative and qualitative research, and local initiatives.To construct future markets for New Business Development and pipeline products through compilation of data.Partnership with Marketing Team to develop situational analysis for business case development.To expand company awareness of business opportunities in line with Company’s strategic goals.Others
To ensure team activities to comply with Company Business Code of Conduct and all local applicable laws within scope of function responsibility.Special projects as directed & assigned by Head of BD.MINIMUM BACKGROUND/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Work Experience
Experience in either business development, project management in regards of new product licensing and acquisition, or sales & marketing in the pharmaceutical segment with at least 5 years at MNC.Have good knowledge & experience in market research. Deep understanding macro market environment.B2B experience is an advantageEducation
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy/DoctorPost-Graduate: MBA qualification is desirableCORE Skills Required:
