This role offers an exciting opportunity to directly influence our core risk functions. **What you'll do:** As a Lead Analyst, you will play a crucial role in overseeing foundational wholesale models used for RWA calculations and enhancing model control processes. Your key responsibilities will include: + Leading data analytics, including assessing, sourcing, and sanitizing data, to support model processes and remediation efforts. + Managing business-as-usual (BAU) activities for foundational default risk models (PD/LGD/CCF). + Critically evaluating model developers' work, identifying and addressing limitations, and providing expert review and challenge. + Facilitating MRM validation and collaborating with diverse stakeholders on implementation matters. + Supporting senior team members in diagnosing and resolving issues and Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) from internal and external stakeholders. + Translating complex analytical findings into clear, concise communications for internal stakeholders. **What we'll need from you:** We're looking for an analytical and detail-oriented professional who brings: + Extensive experience (over 10 years) in credit risk, preferably within the financial services industry. + A comprehensive understanding of model processes and the broad range of businesses that contribute to credit risk. + A strong, process-driven approach complemented by a keen problem-solving mindset. + Demonstrated ability to manage and analyze large quantities of data with meticulous attention to detail. + In-depth experience with RWA processes and robust risk governance frameworks. + Exceptional written and verbal communication, coupled with strong influencing skills. + A Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent professional experience.
