THE ROLE

The Porter/Dishwasher is responsible for the delivery, maintaining, stocking, cleaning, and ensuring that there is a sufficient supply of products in the food & beverage areas. Services to include assistance in setup or breaking functions as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitors stock levels, obtains supplies and equipment as requested per venueWash all china, glassware and silverwareClean all equipment, pots and pansStore all equipment in proper locationsSweep and mop all floors in the kitchenPerforms and assists with routine inventory on a daily basis of all required stock per area of responsibilityTransport food and equipment in a timely mannerUnderstands the importance of prompt and efficient serviceAssist with emptying pallets and stocking storeroom and side stationsAssisting members in a timely, efficient and professional mannerFulfill the assigned opening and closing dutiesSet up and maintain a clean, neat and safe work area

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE     

Must be at least 18 years of ageMust be able to read, speak and write English Language in order to communicate with guestsBasic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.At least 1 years’ guest service experience, preferably in the Hospitality Industry

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Ability to interact effectively with co-workers to ensure compliance with company service standards.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10–30 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds).Sufficient mobility to perform production tasks, including reaching, bending, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods.Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.Commitment to following all safety policies, procedures, and regulations, including completion of company-wide and job-specific safety training.

COMPENSATION

$20.00/hour and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401(k) plan.
