Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: + Responsible for the automotive maintenance needs of the port. + Performs preventative maintenance of all port motor vehicles. This includes both gasoline and diesel engines. + responsible for the clean-up and maintenance of the mechanic shop + Maintains proper inventory of maintenance supplies, including oils, grease, filters, fuels, welding supplies, and other maintenance equipment. Appointment Type: Probational Career Progression: This position participates in a Career Progression Group. Work Schedule:Work hours are 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Thursday. Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience. All individuals employed by the Greater BR Port Commission must have or be eligible to obtain a TWIC card.
