NPL now has a vacancy for Specialist – Maintenance Analysis and Administration

 

About the role

Reporting to the Superintendent – Maintenance Planning, the Specialist – Maintenance Analysis and Administration will be responsible for providing support in effective planning, monitoring, and continuous improvement of maintenance activities. This role plays a key part in ensuring asset reliability, data accuracy, and compliance with maintenance standards, to support the Fixed Plant Maintenance department at New Porgera Limited. 

 

The ideal candidate must have:

Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Engineering or a related discipline.Proven experience in maintenance analysis, administration, or asset managementStrong analytical and reporting skills with attention to detailExperience in SAP, Oracle and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel or CMMS/EAM systems and maintenance planning toolsAbility to communicate effectively with maintenance planners, supervisors and engineers.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to work effectively under pressure and manage competing prioritiesSolid understanding of safety regulations and best practices in mining operation

 

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain maintenance reports, dashboards, and performance metrics (KPIs)Support maintenance planning and scheduling through accurate data managementAdminister maintenance systems (e.g. SAP/Oracle/CMMS/EAM), ensuring data integrity and complianceCoordinate documentation, procedures, and records related to maintenance activitiesAssist in audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiativesCollaborate with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to optimize asset performanceSupport continuous improvement of Maintenance Administration and reporting processes within Fixed Plant Maintenance.

Maintain a high level of health, safety and environmental awareness and comply with all relevant NPL policies & procedures

 

Mobilisation Requirement

This position is open to PNG Citizens Only.Rotation is FIFO, 21 days on / 14 days off.Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.Must hold a valid Police Clearance Certificate (issued within the last 6 months).
