About the Role
New Porgera Limited (NPL) is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Administration Officer to support our Logistics & Warehouse team. This is a great opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to build a career in logistics and supply chain within one of PNG’s leading mining operations.
In this role, you will provide day-to-day administrative support, maintain accurate records, and assist with the smooth coordination of warehouse and logistics functions. You will be the vital link between operational teams and administration, ensuring efficiency and compliance at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
The Officer – Administration will be required to:
Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation for warehouse and logistics activities.
Assist with stock control processes, purchase requisitions, and dispatch documentation.
Coordinate reporting requirements and support compliance with company policies and procedures
Maintain all registers, tracking systems, and Oracle/SAP systems.
Provide general administrative support to the Logistics & Warehouse team.
Liaise with internal teams and external service providers to support smooth operations
Maintain a high level of health and safety awareness and comply with NPL’s Occupational Health & Safety Policy, including all rules and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
A Certificate/Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administration role, preferably in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain.
Knowledge and experience using Oracle or SAP systems.
Strong computer skills (MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook).
Good organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently, with minimum supervisor and as part of a team in a dynamic environment
Strong analytical skills, self-motivation, and a solution-driven approach.
Maintain a high level of health and safety awareness and comply with NPL’s Occupational Health & Safety Policy, including all rules and procedures.
Mobilization Requirements
This position is Porgera-based (Residential/Non-Camp). Candidates must be prepared for site rotation as per company policy. Preference will be given to Local Category 1 and Category 2 candidates who are currently in the Porgera Valley and available to commence immediately
