We are looking for an experienced, hands-on leader to join our underground mining team as a Production Foreman. This is a frontline leadership role where you will be actively engaged underground, supervising and driving production crews to safely achieve daily and weekly targets.
The right candidate will have a strong operational background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment. If you’ve spent years working underground and know how to get the job done safely and efficiently, we want to hear from you.
What We’re Looking For
10+ years’ experience in underground mining, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or foreman role (a bachelor’s degree in mining engineering or Trade Certificate is an advantage, but not essential) Proven track record in leading crews to achieve production targets safely Strong knowledge of underground mining methods such as Long Hole Rising, Stoping, and Backfill. Solid communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure and make sound operational decisions on the spot Familiarity with mining software (Deswik, Pitram) is an advantage, but the focus is on field-based leadership Understanding of PNG mining regulations and safety standards Valid PNG Driver’s License is desirableKey Responsibilities

Mobilization Requirements:
This position is open to PNG Citizens Only FIFO rotation: 21 days on / 14 days off Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening Must hold a current Police Clearance Certificate (issued within the last 6 months)
