Apply today and you could start as soon as this week. **As a PeopleReady associate you'll benefit from:** + Connections and experience with some of the top companies in your area + Great benefit package options + Get matched to jobs quickly. + Competitive pay and steady schedule + The ability to see your schedule and track your hours right from our easy-to-use app, JobStack! **Pay Rate:** _The pay rate for this job is $15 - $20 / hour*_ **What You'll Be Doing as a Pool Technician:** + **Water Chemistry Management** : Regularly test and adjust chemical levels, including sanitizers (chlorine/bromine), pH, total alkalinity, and calcium hardness to maintain sanitary water + **Equipment Maintenance & Repair** : Monitor, maintain, and repair pumps, filters, heaters, chemical feeders, and automated controllers + **Safety Compliance** : Ensure the facility meets local, state, and federal health regulations to prevent waterborne illnesses and accidents (e.g., proper signage, safety equipment) + **Cleaning and Sanitation** : Vacuum pool floors, skim surfaces, brush walls, and clean tile/deck areas to remove debris + **Record Keeping** : Maintain accurate, updated logs of chemical readings, maintenance actions, and safety inspections for health department audits + **Troubleshooting** : Diagnose water quality issues (cloudy water, algae) and equipment failures, implementing effective solutions + **Chemical Handling** : Safely store, handle, and apply chemicals used in pool water treatment **Available Shifts:** Shift timings- 1st Shift (Day) **Job Requirements:** + Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady + Prior experience with residential pool maintenance is a plus, but not required (training available) + Basic knowledge of pool systems and water chemistry preferred + Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions + Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods + Certified Pool & Spa Operator (CPO) + Background check and drug screening required **Ready to take control of your work life?** Complete our application to join the PeopleReady team today! *Hourly pay rates are a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
