Main Duties

Operational

· Welcoming guests and ensuring their safety and comfort.

· To assist in the smooth and efficient operation of the pool area as per the Hyatt standards laid down.

· To provide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times, following Hyatt Standards.

· To be flexible in performing all duties and tasks in the assigned Place of Work to the standard set.

· To be fully conversant with all services and facilities offered by the hotel.

· To perform opening and closing procedures established for the Place of Work as assigned.

· Ensuring that the swimming pool area, furniture, and facilities are clean and safe.

· Must be completely conversant with first aid life saving techniques.

· Makes optimum use of the pool equipment.

Guest Service

· Handle guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints or problems to the Spa Supervisor.

· Role is to be of service to the guest and ensure their needs safety comes first.

· Must impart correct information advise the guest on the various services/activities for the pool/spa/gym.

· Must be attentive and alert for any guests needs.

· Providing guests with towels and attending to their requests.

· Clearing used towels, glasses, and trash.

· Reporting any damages or incidences to the supervisor.

· Ensure Pool facilities are accessed rightfully

Administration

· Provides the appropriate level of professional, courteous and caring service to other employees (internal customers) and other visitors to the division.

Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships
