Work Schedule: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Position Summary: Able to confirm appropriateness of study ordered, prepare patients for studies, perform acquisition, upload to server, score using AASM guidelines, troubleshoot technical issues and file IS tickets when appropriate. Must maintain ISR score above established departmental target. Direct and phone contact with patients/families.

* Possess visual acuity, hearing acuity, verbal skills, and command of the English language necessary to communicate with patients, families, physicians, external agencies, and staff at all levels in the organization.
* Possess manual dexterity necessary for administrative tasks such as preparing reports, preparing patients for polysomnogram and recording of computer data acquired.
*Have upper body strength, agility, and lung capacity necessary to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation and assist those patients with limited ability.
* Must possess dexterity to manipulate large/small objects, think/thin objects, use a computer keyboard, push/turn various sizes of equipment controls
Credentials:
Certified polysomnographer or ability to be certified within 2 years.
Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in health-related field preferred.
Working conditions: Small amount of lifting, pushing, bending. Moderate amount: Use of computer, reaching. Large Amounts: sitting, visual acuity, hearing acuity, walking and standing.
