Position Summary
Independently performs standard and complex Sleep Center recordings and other procedures of Sleep. Employs various techniques and operates conventional or portable sleep equipment, using correct settings to obtain recording, according to physician’s specifications.
Primary Position Responsibilities
1. Facilitates and coordinates duties relating to Sleep and Neurology.
2. Documentation and charging of patient care.
3. Maintains professional development.
4. Maintains patient safety.
5. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Required:
Graduate from Accredited Sleep and Neurology Program
Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):
Required:
2 years experience and a full working knowledge of all aspects of sleep studies. CPAP and BiPAP titration and other technical aspects of sleep diagnosis are required
Preferred:
5 years of above experience
License, Registry or Certification:
Required:
New Jersey Licensure in Sleep and Neurology, American Heart association (CPR)
Preferred:
ACLS
Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:
Required:
