The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. Job Overview: A sleep technologist works under the general supervision of the Medical Director and the Administrative Director of Pulmonary & Sleep services to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders including in center and home sleep apnea testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care and direct patient education. A sleep technologist is credentialed in sleep technology and can provide oversight of other sleep center staff. Qualifications: Required: + Current New Jersey State License as a Polysomnographic Technologist and/or Respiratory Therapist + At least one year experience as a sleep technologist. Preferred: + Qualification to obtain, or possession of the CCSH (Certification in Clinical Sleep Health) preferred. Certifications and Licenses Required: + Be registered by the ABSM, BRPT, or NBRC (Certification by the ABSM, BRPT, or NBRC does NOT satisfy this qualification.) + Maintain current CPR or BLS certification.
