Under the guidance of the Benefits Policy Section Manager, you will oversee the development and ongoing management of Medicaid fee-for-service (FFS) policies for assigned benefit areas such as home health, personal care, private duty nursing, EVV, and Act 119 services.
You'll analyze proposed policy changes, coordinate implementations, respond to stakeholders, and serve as a subject matter expert. Your work will shape how Medicaid policies are implemented across the state - impacting healthcare providers, organizations, and Wisconsin residents who depend on these services.

Bachelors degree in public policy, health administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)2+ years of experience in healthcare policy, Medicaid, or program administrationStrong knowledge of federal and state Medicaid law and regulationsFamiliarity with healthcare billing and coding systems (CPT, HCPCS, ICD)Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skillsAbility to work independently while managing complex initiatives and meeting deadlinesExperience with Microsoft Office Suite, virtual communication platforms (e.g. Zoom), and data analysis tools preferredWhy Work with Spherion
