As a Pneumatic Components Design Engineer (Valve Instrumentation Mechanical Design Engineer), you'll be working within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to the issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action.
As a Pneumatic Components Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Establishing and managing the Product Lifecycle Management for maintaining consistency of product performanceProviding visibility and control of the system performance, functional and physical attributes.Collaborate with external suppliers/vendors to resolve technical throughput concerns.Document the work in PLM, eDRB and other corporate document repositories Making sure system preforms as intended and is identified and documented enough detail to support its projected life cycleApplying concepts and theories for the design and maintenance of mechanical systems such as elastomers, springs etcConveying technical information both to clients and to colleagues out of other functions.Utilizing knowledge of pneumatic instrumentation systems and design practices to design and develop control valve systems.Prepare invention disclosures to protect the technology that provides a competitive advantage to the businessAssure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university or college
Having 2-5 years of experience with pneumatic actuated control valves, levers, Robotic arms, precision engineering is advantageHave 2D AutoCAD and 3D CAD design experienceHave knowledge of control valve system design and its Instrumentation including understanding of required material selection to meet requirements.Be a good team player and display good communication skillsBe able to participate in the writing engineering-controlled specifications that define the product lines.Work in a way that works for you
